Hello there!
Feeling lighter, one step at a time.
Not everyone wants to see a psychologist or needs a coach.
Sometimes we just need someone to talk to —to ease the load,
to find clarity.
That’s what I offer —a non-judgmental, supportive space to talk things through while we walk. No office, no formal sessions, just genuine, meaningful conversations that help you feel heard, understood, and ready to move forward.
Maybe you’re…
… feeling stuck or overwhelmed,
… going through something and need to talk it through,
… wanting to get something off your chest, or maybe you’re…
… not sure what you need right now, but you don’t want to
figure it out alone.
Let’s walk, and figure it out together. One step at a time.
Why walking?
It can help

Boost your energy
A walk can wake you up better than a cup of coffee. Movement increases blood flow and oxygen to your muscles and brain, giving you a natural energy boost.
Elevate your mood
Walking releases endorphins, your body's natural feel-good chemicals. Even a short stroll can lift your spirits, ease anxiety, and help you feel more balanced.
Get your heart going
Walking is one of the simplest ways to support heart health. It improves circulation, strengthens your cardiovascular system, and helps regulate blood pressure.
Clear your mind

A change of scenery and gentle movement can help untangle your thoughts. Walking encourages mindfulness, sparks creativity, and makes it easier to process emotions.
Reduce stress
Fresh air, rhythmic movement, and time away from screens help lower cortisol levels. Walking gives your mind and body space to reset, making challenges feel more manageable.
Improve your sleep
Regular walks can help regulate your circadian rhythm, making it easier to fall asleep and stay asleep. Plus, reducing stress through movement leads to more restful nights.

About me
Hi there, I'm Sandra.

I’m glad you’re here.
I now live in Melbourne, but I'm originally from Europe. Although I grew up in Hungary, when I turned twenty-one, I started moving around. I've lived, studied, and worked all over the globe, including at open sea, onboard a cruise ship that carried four thousand passengers and a thousand crewmembers from ninety-five different nationalities, and part of my job as an HR Manager there was taking care of them.
Moving around so much kept shaping my view of the world and the people in it. Living in New York City is profoundly different from life in Prague or Berlin, or even London despite its perceived similarity to New York. Working with a Dutch person who grew up in a townhouse by the canal in Amsterdam is vastly different from working with someone who spent most of their life in a small town in the mountains of Peru, a fishing village in Eritrea, or the buzzing capital of India. And although every person in each of these countries has their own specific set of challenges and their unique views of the world, what I've found is that, at our core, we are all the same.
We all want the same things, and we all struggle with the same things. Expressing emotions, understanding and communicating our needs, human connection. We are all scared of the same things, too: losing loved ones, getting ill, not finding love, finding love but screwing it up, being alone, not being good enough. We all just want to be seen and feel that we belong.
We want to be loved and to be accepted for who we are without being judged. We want to feel heard and valued and feel that we matter.
And this is why I started Walk Therapy.
Whether I was training people on communication skills, coaching managers on how to bring out the best in their teams, mentoring new employees, or taking groups of people across Europe and introducing them to history and culture, my focus and priority were always one thing: the person.
In a world, where almost anything is reachable in an instant, where many of us are overstretched, overstimulated, often overworked, juggling more than we can handle, and often need to pretend that it's all OK, where technology gives us ways to be in contact with each other easier than ever, we are more anxious, disconnected, and lonelier than we've ever been.
So I wanted to create space for all of us (you!) where we can all take a breather. Where you can drop the mask you're forced to wear sometimes and be your most authentic self. Where, if you need to, you can pour your heart out or just stay in comfortable silence without being judged, and where nobody will tell you that you should focus on the positive or look at the bright side of things.
Because things are not always bright, and that's OK. And we're allowed to acknowledge that and be hurt because of it. I'm not here to "fix" you or make your problems go away, but I'm here to listen and support you the way it works for you.
Come, let's go for a walk, and talk.
